Children's artistic vision...cast your vote now!

Budding young artists painted their vision of the perfect home when they took part in a competition run by Portford Homes recently.

Portford Homes invited schoolchildren at Athersley South Primary School in Barnsley, to show off their artistic flair by designing a 'house for sale' poster that could be used the at housebuilders Cypress Heights development.

Entries will be displayed in the marketing suite at Cypress Heights which is on  Wakefield road, so visitors will be able to vote for their favourite for a special 'people's choice' award.

David Mackintosh, Sales and Marketing Director at Portford Homes says: "The children's work is fantastic and really captures the spirit of the new homes we have to sell at Cypress Heights.

"However, such is the high standard of entries we have decided to open up the judging to include our visitors coming to Cypress Heights, as we simply can't choose the winning entries!"

Portford Homes will announce the three winning entries in September when the children return to school after the summer holiday.

Concludes David Mackintosh: "We hope there will be plenty of visitors to Cypress Heights during the next month or so to help us choose the winners of the competition.....and maybe whilst they are casting their votes they could take a look at our choice of brand new homes and great offers that could be a winning combination for them!"
